Hyper Scape How To Add Friends

With Hyper Scape Season 2 in full swing, Ubisoft's own version of the free-to-play battle royale genre, the game is preparing to get a highly anticipated update to retain their player base. Coming amidst the season, Ubisoft is going to implement a new Hyper Scape title update that is expected to react to player feedback and provide new features to both the core of the game and the recently added Team Deathmatch.

The update will be available on the 10^th of December, with the developers planning to enhance the current gameplay for players on all platforms, while being cautious to keep from opening up most of their player base into hackers. This will most particularly be emphasizing how console players will be able to enjoy the game together, not only on the same console but also reaching to the new standard for similar multiplayer games.

According to a comprehensive look at the update by Game Director Thomas Simon and Senior Producer Graeme Jennings in the second Lab Update, Ubisoft will be integrating crossplay as part of the upcoming patch.

The cross-play feature will be an automatic addition among console players, with Xbox and PlayStation systems connecting with each other as the standard for matchmaking in the future. It is worth noting that connecting via PC will need more effort, with players required to invite friends into parties for them to play Hyper Scape together across various platforms.

The absence of standard PC crossplay is a bit of a disappointment for several fans hoping to witness a much bigger community to instantly connect for better queue times. However, considering the curse of cheating on the PC in multiplayer titles such as Warzone, it's probable that the developers are just trying to be cautious not to disappoint console players by exposing them to the part of the community with easier access to cheats and hacks. Of course, players wanting to enjoy the game with friends across PC to console can still play together via inviting them through the friends list, so the platforms aren't totally disconnected.

Cross-saves and crossplay have become more than just a feature for several titles over the past few years. So, integrating this feature just a few months after the game's release might be precisely what Ubisoft needs to add in order to keep Hyper Scape suitable among the populated shooting genre.
